When reporting a problem, it helps to include:
· Your device (Mac, iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch) and its system version
· ZiadaTime version (on the Mac: ZiadaTime → About ZiadaTime; on iPhone and iPad:
Settings → General → iPhone Storage → ZiadaTime)
· A short description of what you did and what you expected
Stopwatches not syncing? Check that each device is signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on, and that iCloud Sync is on in ZiadaTime’s Settings. Changes show up within seconds while ZiadaTime is open on screen, otherwise the next time you open it.
Privacy
ZiadaTime does not collect or share any personal data, and the developer never receives any of it.
All stopwatch data — the stopwatches you create, their names and groups, which ones are active and their running times — is stored on your device, in the app’s own storage. The Apple Watch app exchanges it only with ZiadaTime on your paired iPhone, and the Mac’s desktop widgets read it from the Mac app’s own storage. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
iCloud Sync
When you’re signed in to iCloud, ZiadaTime keeps this data the same on your iPhone, iPad and Mac by storing a copy in your own private iCloud account (Apple’s CloudKit). Only you can see it: the developer has no access to it, and it is never shared with anyone. Apple’s privacy policy covers how iCloud stores it.
You can turn iCloud Sync off in ZiadaTime’s Settings. Remove iCloud Data, also in Settings, deletes ZiadaTime’s data from iCloud; the stopwatches on your devices stay.
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. If iCloud Sync is on, use Remove iCloud Data first to delete the copy in iCloud too.
